Samsung Gear Fit is termed as a Smart Watch along with being a Fitness Tracker also having a Heart Rate monitor inbuilt making it a multipurpose device. There are many little features like the Timer, Stopwatch etc along with the much hyped features like Pedometer, Heart Rate monitor, making calls and taking photos from your Gear which are much essential in our everyday life.
With the Samsung Gear Fit you can use the Timer to great effect in your Workout sessions or even while cooking etc. Do not mistake the Timer as a Stopwatch as this does exactly the opposite of what Stopwatch does. You can use this as a Countdown timer by setting a particular number like 5 minutes 30 seconds or 10 minutes and the Gear Fit will countdown to zero.
How to use Timer application in Samsung Gear Fit
From your Home Screen scroll the screen to the Right or Left and you will be finding the Timer Application. Tap on Timer and launch it.
You can find that there are two boxes to set your time and by clicking on any one you can get to set the Countdown timer by pressing on the Plus and Minus buttons and get the exact time which you want to set.
After setting your desired duration you need to click on the Play or green arrow button to start the timer. While the timer is running you can get two options to either Pause the timer or even Restart the timer at any given time.
After the Timer has stopped you will be getting a Red Circle with an X mark in middle of it with the text “Time is up”.
You need to tap on the “X” mark and drag it out of the circle to stop the timer from Ringing and Vibrating.
