Ulefone F1 Smartphone with Mi MIX Like Bezel-less Display to Launch at MWC 2017

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 smartphones will be featuring very thin bezels around display which in return offers higher screen-to-body ratio. Now, a little-known Chinese company called Ulefone is teasing the launch of a new smartphone called Ulefone F1 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Along with the Ulefone F1, the company also confirmed to unveil Ulefone Armor 2, Ulefone Gemini Pro, Ulefone Power 2, and Ulefone F1 smartphones. While not much information is mentioned about this new bezel-less smartphone, from the official image, it looks similar to the Xiaomi Mi MIX from the front.

The slightly curved glossy finish back body might offer nice grip tp hold on to the device. Additionally, the device also sports dual cameras on the rear along with dual tone LED flash. As the top edge is also bezel-less, the front camera is placed on the bottom edge. It comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and includes Mali T880 MP4 GPU to look over the graphics part. The Ulefone T1 is also mentioned to come with the Helio P25 SoC. Additionally, it packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is more than enough even for playing graphics intensive games.

On the other hand, the Ulefone Armor 2 rugged smartphone also packs the same Helio P25 SoC and 6GB of RAM configuration as seen on the above mentioned devices. It also is said to come with 2nd gen IP68 certification making it water and dust resistant. Earlier this month, Ulefone launched the Gemini smartphone equipped with dual lens camera. It is priced at just $130 and comes with metal built body and decent mid-range specifications. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display protected with Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

In the camera department, there is a 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front is a 5MP front camera for capturing selfies and video. calls. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with other basic connectivity options. The fingerprint is integrated into the physical home button on the front. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by a 3,250mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support.
