The Galaxy Note 7 smartphone was launched in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, and Black Onyx color options. The Blue Coral color variant is not made available in selected markets including India. As the Galaxy Note 7 production is stopped after the serial battery explosions, Samsung has offered refund or exchange for the every unit sold. From the last couple of months, we have seen few images of the Galaxy S7 Edge in the Coral Blue color. Last week, this new color option was made available in few markets including Taiwan, Singapore, and South Korea. Now the latest news is that the same device will also be available via T-Mobile in the U.S starting from November 18th.

Another US-based carrier AT&T is already taking pre-orders for the new Blue color Galaxy S7 Edge. While T-Mobile joins the list of carriers selling Galaxy S7 Edge in Blue color, Verizon is also rumored to start selling this device by the end of this week. The pre-ordered devices from AT&T will be shipped from November 18th; the same device will be available from T-Mobile from the same date. As far as the specifications are considered, the new Blue colored device will feature same specifications as the earlier launched Galaxy S7 Edge. The pricing will be the same as other color options, but the availability cannot be assured as this is the newly announced color option.

The device comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD (2540 x 1440 pixels) resolution and curved edges on both sides. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. There is also another variant with Exynos 8890 octa-core processor. It packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded upto 256GB using the provided MicroSD card slot. The device will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box while the Android 7.0 Nougat based TouchWix UI update can be expected soon. Samsung is said to be testing the latest Android update on Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6, and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones.

The device is backed by a 3,600 battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0 with the Adaptive fast charging power adapter. On the camera front, there is a 12MP dual pixel rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Though there are many smartphones launched after the MWC 2016, still Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are one of the top smartphones in offering best camera experience. Now the latest rumors are that Galaxy S8 might launch in 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch screen size options. These devices will be coming with the model numbers SM-G950 and SM-955 respectively. The Galaxy S8 devices might come with more than 90% screen-to-body ratio. They might look similar to the Xiaomi’s Mi MIX with an almost bezel-less display. On the other hand, the leaked SM-N950 model number is expected to be of next year’s Galaxy Note 8.
