Swipe Launches Elite Power Smartphone with 4000mAh Battery for Rs. 6999

Swipe has been teasing the launch of its new budget-centric smartphone, Elite Power from the last few days. Today, the company had officially launched the device for Rs. 6,999. At this price, the device comes with a metal body and also sports a fingerprint sensor. The USP of the device is its 4,000mAh battery that is mentioned to give two days of normal usage. Apart from the bigger battery, the Elite Power packs the decent entry-level specifications. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 210 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there is an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for Selfies.

The Elite Power can be used with Jio 4G SIM as it supports VoLTE and it is also a dual SIM dual standby smartphone. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and we can’t expect the Android 7.0 Nougat anytime soon. The device also comes with pre-installed apps like Flipkart, Saavn, Daily hunt, and Opera Mini. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm Audio port, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It is available only in Space Grey color option and is sold exclusively on Flipkart.

Earlier: Jan 28, 2017 – Swipe Elite Power is a new device from Swipe which will be launching on 31st of January for Rs. 6,999 in India. The device has been listed on Flipkart as coming soon, and all the specifications of the same have also been listed. The device comes with a unibody metal design. The device will be targeted towards budget segment market to make sure everyone one can afford the handset. Recently Swipe has launched the device like Swipe Elite Star, Swipe Elite Max, Swipe Elite 2 Plus, Swipe Konnect Plus and few other devices.

Coming to the specifications of the Swipe Elite Power comes equipped with a decent 5.5-inch touch screen HD IPS display and could feature the Corning Glass protection on the top to protect it from scratches and minor falls. Under the hood, there is a 1.1GHz quad-core process coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the storage part, the onboard memory is 16GB which could be further extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card.

There is a 4000mAh battery on the rear that is reported to give up to 48 hours of battery on normal usage. There is also a fingerprint sensor that will enhance the security levels on the device for doing secured transactions via smartphones. The handset measures 156.5 mm x 77 mm x 8.8 mm and will have an 8MP camera sensor on the rear with LED flash while it is accompanied with 5MP selfie camera. Looking at the specification the handset will be competing against the devices like Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, SwipeElite Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Honor 4X and few others which are in similar price range.
