The South Korean giant Samsung may have been working on a foldable device. According to a report, patent of Samsung’s foldable Galaxy device surfaced online. It revealed the design and details of this device. The report also claims that it could be a flexible device as well from the company if it is going to launch. According to the report, South Korea published patent application which revealed this prototype from the company.

We have seen so many reports and news published before as well about foldable and flexible devices. But this one is new that we haven’t seen before. The revealed image gave us a glimpse of the device in work. There are no information or details about the launch of this device, right now we have a just concept with an image. Which looks like a real prototype.

The prototype shows us that device has two hinges, a fitted and a removable camera lens and a flexible screen. Pictures show a large camera socket which is detachable that means we can mount different lenses as well in the device. We can say apart from a foldable device this one is going to be a camera-centric as well. We have seen many devices in the past with camera mount at the back of the smartphone.

These new pictures of the foldable device look concrete than the pictures of recently leaked devices we have seen before. In the past, there was rumor about Samsung Galaxy X smartphone as well. Which many reports claimed that it is going to be the first folding smartphone. But we haven’t heard anything about that yet.

Earlier, we told you about the explosion of Galaxy S6 smartphone in a Chinese airline and person got injured. Before that, Samsung was in the news for Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. But after halting the production of Note 7. This is the first explosion in any Samsung device.

Recently Samsung was also in the news because of some rumors about its upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone. Many reports claim that like Apple iPhone, Samsung is also going to ditch 3.5mm jack from Galaxy S8. Which it might launch at MWC 2017 in February. According to the report, S8 is also going to feature USB type-C, Quad HD display, 6GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 or Samsung Exynos 8895 SoCs. Samsung will also make its new device VR compatible as well out of the box. But these all are rumors and nothing confirmed yet. So stay tuned to Phone Radar, and we will update you with the latest information.
