Samsung to launch Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Smartphones in India on April 19th

Ever since Samsung announced the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus in the U.S, all the Indian fans aimlessly started counting the days for the smartphones’ debut in India. While we didn’t have an official date till now, it was expected that it will happen sometime in the month of April. Now we have an official confirmation from the company and the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus will debut in India on April 19th.

The company tweeted out the release date info on their official Twitter handle with a teaser video. You can check out the tweet below. The tweet clearly mentions the release date for both the devices as 19th April and hence we don’t have to sit around and keep speculating anymore. While both the smartphones will be announced on April 19th, we have no confirmation on the date of availability for both the devices. Hence we will have to wait for another week to know about them.

As far as the specs of the smartphones are concerned, we are not expecting any changes here whatsoever. We have been hearing a lot that the Indian variants will have Dual SIM capability allowing users to two SIM simultaneously. Do make a note that we have no confirmation on the same and we’ll have to till the launch date to know more on that. It is also worth mentioning that the company has launched a 6GB RAM variant in Korea. But as mentioned earlier, we have no confirmation on any of the specs that the Indian variants will carry.

The pricing of the smartphones is also something that we need to know. There are a lot of speculation about the pricing as well, but we suggest you stay patient for another week until we find out the official pricing.
