Samsung has recently launched a new smartphone Galaxy S6 edge+ priced at INR 57,900. The device comes powered by 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa-core processor manufactured with 14nm process. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 2560×1440 as its resolution. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and is available in two variants of storage, i.e., 32GB and 64GB. There is no external Micro SD port available on the device. The spec of the device is almost similar to that of Galaxy Note 5 varying only in the terms of display.
The device comes powered by 3000mAH Li non-removable battery that support fast charging and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based TouchWiZ UI. The device supports fast charging with both the types of connections, i.e., wireless and wired connection. The device comes with a Wired charging pack, and wireless charging pad must be purchased additionally if required.
The device packs a 16MP rear camera with an aperture f/1.9, supports OIS feature and has dual LED flash. While speaking about the front camera, it comes with 5MP cam with the same aperture as that of the rear camera. It measures 154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm in terms of dimension and weighs about 153 grams.
The connectivity on this device include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO(2×2), NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and USB 2.0. The device will also support the Samsung Pay feature that is going to be launched soon. There is an extra feature where you can add and additional keyboard to your device and must be purchased separately. The device is available in four variants of colors i,e White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium.
