Today, Samsung India has unexpectedly launched their first 6GB RAM handset in India, a day ahead what was expected. Consumers who are interested to get their hands on this latest offering from a South Korean giant can visit the outlets or company’s online store starting January 27 for pre-booking. Though, it would be available for purchase in the second half of next month, i.e. February 2017. The device is priced at Rs 36,900 and would be available in two color variants, Black and Gold. This device was first launched in China and now made its way to India. Other regions availability is still unknown.
Earlier –We reported that Samsung might launch Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone in India. Now according to sammobile report, Samsung will launch the same on January 18 in India. The report also claims that price of the C9 Pro could be higher than Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone in the country. The smartphone was launched in China in October last year. The report also tells that C9 Pro will go on sale in countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam in the upcoming months.
Previously, we told you about the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone launched in China. Now according to a report, South Korean smartphone giant Samsung all set to launch its first Galaxy C series smartphone in India. Samsung will launch Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone in India. The smartphone was launched in China last year and already available for purchase in the Chinese market. It comes in three colors Black, Gold and Rose Gold. The report also claims that company might launch Gear S3 as well with the introduction of this smartphone. The smartphone will be official by the end of this month. The new smartphone will be entertainment-centric device and will boost large display. The Chinese price of the smartphone is CNY 3,199 which roughly translates to INR 31,407 in Indian Rupees. We can expect Samsung will price it below INR 35,000 in the Indian market.
Talking about the specifications of the Galaxy C9 Pro, it will have massive 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. There will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor on board along with 6GB RAM. The smartphone will come with 64GB internal storage and a memory card slot for expanding memory. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
On the photography front, it has 16MP camera at both front and back. Both cameras will have f/1.9 aperture on board. The rear camera will also come with phase detection autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, HDR. It can record up to 1080p videos. The smartphone also come with a fingerprint sensor which embedded in the home button. With subtle design in the smartphone, it will also have a new kind of antenna, reports tells.
On the connectivity front, Galaxy C9 Pro is a dual SIM smartphone with 4G VoLTE support. It has dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone will come with stereo speakers. It has a 4,000mAh battery with Adaptive Fast Charge technology. It measures 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9 mm and weighs just 189 grams even with such a massive battery.
Recently, another Galaxy C series smartphone Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro also spotted on GFXBench. The smartphone already leaked on TENAA as well revealing all the specifications of the smartphone. It will come with 5.5-inch full HD display along with five finger gesture support. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. There is 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor and 4GB RAM. It has 64GB internal storage. Like C9 Pro, it also has 16MP camera at front and back. Recently Slashleaks also shared an image of a device claiming it Galaxy S8. But looking at the dual-edge curved display of the device many said it is Galaxy S8 Edge smartphone.
