The device offers 4G LTE and is the most affordable 4G smartphone available in the Indian market.

Comparing to the other smartphones at this price range, the Clue 630 offers better specifications. The plastic build device comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854 X 480 pixels) display. It is powered by the 32-bit Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz. There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage along with a microSD card slot.

The device offers dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE only on one SIM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Expect 5.0 UI laid on top. The Clue 630 sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies. It is backed by a 2,300mAh removable battery that gives 7 hours of talk time and last upto 250 hours on standby.

Connectivity options on this device include 4G LTE along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 144 x 72 x 9.5 mm and weighs 158 grams. The Phicomm Clue 630 is highly recommended for the first time smartphone users those who want to access high-speed data with the 4G LTE. There are few other smartphones like ZTE Blade Qlux 4G, Phicomm Energy 653, and Lenovo A2010 that offers few upgraded specs at slightly higher price.

The Energy 653 which comes with an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and an 8MP rear camera is currently retailing at Rs. 4,499. Reliance’s LYF also launched a couple affordable 4G LTE smartphones Flame 1 and Flame 2 that are priced under Rs. 6,000 and comes with almost same specifications as the Phicomm Clue 630. The LYF smartphones also support VoLTE and VoWiFi for clearer voice calls with better signal range.

The only difference Flame 1 and Clue 630 is the 5MP selfie camera, but the Flame 1 is retailing at Rs. 5,418 which is almost 30% higher than the price of Clue 630. With the increasing adaptability of the 4G supported devices, we can even expect affordable 4G supported devices from other manufacturers in the coming days.
