OPPO F1s Vs F1 Vs F1 Plus Smartphones Specs & Features Comparison

OPPO launched the new F1s smartphone today at an event in Mumbai, India. Looking at the specs, it is yet another solid phone for the company with packs good specs for the price. It features a 5.5-inch HD display and it is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It packs 3GB of RAM with a 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB for extra storage. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS.

So now, looking at the specs, it looks very similar to the previously launched Oppo F1 Plus or even the OPPO F1. So let’s take a close look at tall the three devices and compare them based on specs, features, etc. to find which one is the right option for you.

Starting things off, let’s talk about the specs of all these smartphones. The newly launched F1s features a 5.5-inch display on the front with HD resolution. Even though the display size is same as that of the F1 Plus, the resolution is better on the F1 Plus coming in at FHD resolution. Whereas on the other hand, the F1 smartphone features a 5-inch display with HD resolution only. So the smaller display with HD resolution is quite better than the F1s.

When it comes to processor, the F1s is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and the F1 Plus is powered by a comparatively better MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor coming in at higher clock speeds. Oppo F1, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 616 SoC clocked at 1.7 GHz. In terms of memory, the F1 packs a 3GB of RAM and both the F1 Plus and the newly launched F1s packs 4GB of RAM. All the three smartphones have microsSD card expandability so the storage won’t be a problem at all.

All these smartphones are more or less known for their camera optics. The newly launched OPPO F1s features a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, making it a selfie-centric smartphone. Even the OPPO F1 Plus launched earlier had the exact same megapixel count for the front and rear cameras. The OPPO F1 is left behind with a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. Well, even though it is less than the other two in the comparison, it is still far better than many other smartphones in the market currently including the flagship ones. Check out some of the pictures taken from the OPPO F1 camera below:

The camera has always been the strong point of these smartphones, and the company has done a great job with those here as well. Stay tuned for more camera samples and other camera related comparisons soon. With that being said, all the three smartphones will perform good, but obviously, you can take comparatively good pictures from the new F1s for those selfies.

Talking about other features, both the OPPO F1s and the OPPO F1 Plus features a fingerprint scanner. The newly launched OPPO F1s also supports the fast charging with the OPPO patented VOOC flash charging. In terms of other connectivity options, they offer more or less the same options, with the OPPO F1s supporting dual SIM options and 4G LTE connectivity as well.

Comparison: OPPO F1 Plus vs OPPO F1s

As far as pricing is concerned, the Oppo F1s is priced at Rs. 17,990 and the F1 Plus is currently retailing between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 27,000. And the previously launched F1 is now priced at about Rs. 15,000; which is not bad at all. But it will be a better option to go with the newly launched F1s here since it is priced at a sweet spot and you are not getting much for the extra 6,000 to 7,000 INR for the F1 Plus.

Let us know which device you are planning to pick up and why. And stay tuned for more comparisons like this in future.
