OnePlus 3T Smartphone Launched in India – Specifications, Price & Availability

Last month, the Chinese startup OnePlus has unveiled its latest smartphone OnePlus 3T. As announced earlier, the device also went on sale in the U.S, Europe, and even China. Today, the company has finally launched the OnePlus 3T in the Indian market. The 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 29,999 while the 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 34,999. Both the variants will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting from December 14th. The new device comes in Gunmetal and Soft Gold, where the 128GB variant will be available only in GunMetal color. Apart from the new color, externally there is no visible change between OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.[Latest Price of OnePlus 3T -[amazon_link asins=’B01FM8M0XE’ template=’PriceLink’ store=’prblog02-21′ marketplace=’IN’ link_id=’0c22be54-dd59-11e6-9566-41ea6a6b9da8′]]

However, internally there are a few upgrades giving a decent edge to OnePlus 3T over the OnePlus 3. The 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution remains same as on its predecessor. Under the hood, the 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 processor is now replaced with the latest Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz. It offers 10% better performance along with improved battery optimizations. While the 6GB RAM remains unchanged, the new device will be now available in 64GB as well as 128GB storage variants. As seen with the earlier OnePlus, we don’t see the MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage on the OnePlus 3T.

The basic 64GB of storage will be enough for regular usage unless there are 4K videos recordings stored. On the front, there is a physical home button with integrated fingerprint sensor. The Alert Slider that can be used to toggle between differnet notification alert modes can be found on the left edge of the device. While the 16MP remains same as on its predecessor, OnePlus has replaced the 8MP front sensor with Samsung’s 3P8Sp 16MP sensor. Though the OnePlus 3T measures and weighs exactly same as OnePlus 3, somehow the company has brought in a slightly larger 3,400mAh battery. The in-house fast charging technology, Dash Charge remains unchanged and is said to give a complete day of usage with just 30 minutes of charging.

  • Had guessed the price correctly for 64GB variant! But 5k extra for 128GB variant is too much!
