A few days back, we have seen HMD unveiling its Nokia 6 handset and it was launched only in the Chinese market. Then we got the leaks of the global variant that were spotted on Bluetooth certification, and it was expected to be unveiled at the MWC. Now there is another device that has been leaked, dubbed as Nokia 8 which will be another pure Android device and also could be the true flagship device that HMD has promised to put forward on 26th of February at the MWC 2017.
Codenamed as Nokia Supreme, the Nokia 8 is creating curiosity but nothing is confirmed about the specifications yet. Although, we can expect some high-end specifications since it is going to be the flagship device. According to the leaks, the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and will feature 5.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolutions. The display is touted to be a flat screen HDM is also expected to push another cheaper variant of this handset with Snapdragon 821 processor.
Moreover, the device is also said to sport a 24MP camera sensor on the rear with OIS and super EIS, and it will be accompanied with12MP camera on the front for high quality video calling and also for selfie lovers. It is also said to come with two different storage options, 64GB and 128GB variants which can be further extendable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It will come out of the box with Android 7.0 Nougat as even Nokia 6 shipped with the same.
The Nokia 6 came with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution with a protection of 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top. Under the hood, it has a 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
