Nokia 6 that was made official couple of days earlier which was limited to China is the first true Android smartphone from Nokia. HMD Global which now has the rights of using the Nokia brand for the coming ten years launched its first ever smartphone today in China, called as Nokia 6. Now, another variant of the device has been spotted on Tenna certification with model number TA-1003. This could well be the global variant that we are waiting for, but there isn’t any confirmation on the same.
Nokia 6 was also spotted along with this new variant with a model number TA-1000 with are similar to each other. The new device could be revealed at the upcoming MWC and can be made available very soon globally. We have to wait until we get confirmation from a reliable source and we are pretty much excited to see this global variant.
If you have missed the specifications of the HMD Nokia 6, it is going to come with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top. It will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
There is a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash accompanied with an 8MP camera sensor on the front with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens. It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with a customized UI laid on top and on the back of the handset there is a 3,000mAh non-removable battery to power the device.
