Lava has launched a new device called as Lava A97 4G for Rs. 5,199. This device is an entry level device targeted towards the budget friendly market. Lava has recently launched the devices like Lava A56, Lava X28. Lava P7 Plus and one of the best from the company being the Lava X81. There are many budget-friendly devices from the company which mainly targets the entry level and the mid-range market. Lava is also providing 12 months of warranty on the device.
Coming to the specifications of the device, the Lava A97 4G comes with 5-inch capacitive touch screen LCD with 854 x 480 pixels resolution giving a pixel density of 196 PPI. The device comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box which is further upgradable. As the name suggest, the handset is a 4G variant and also supports dual-SIM.
To power the device there is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and at the back, there is a 2350 mAh Li-Ion battery. On the camera front, there is a 5MP sensor on both sides of the device, and there is also a flash included. The camera comes with the features like CMOS Image Sensor, Self-timer, Auto Flash, Touch to Focus, ISO setting, Slow Motion Video and Scene Mode.
The onboard memory on the Lava A97 4G is 8GB which can be extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card. The device comes with the sensors like Accelerometer, Compass, GPS, A-GPS, Light sensor and Gyro sensor. There are connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, USB, and FM radio. The device weights 160 grams and measures 145.5 x 72 x 9.2 mm.
