Infocus has recently launched a new smartphone, i.e., the Infocus Bingo 10(M415) priced at Rs 4,299. It comes powered by MediaTek MT6580 Quad-Core Procesor clocked at 1.3 GHz. It is a dual SIM smartphone supporting the dual standby. The device comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded up to 64 GB using an external micro SD card slot. It sports 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 5 MP front camera with 4X Digital Zoom with a flashlight. It is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-Poly battery and runs on Android Lollipop 6.0. The device is available in two variants of colors, i.e., White(with Green Twist) and Black(with Blue Twist).     Infocus Bingo 10

    SIM card insertion is the first thing that any user does when her/she purchase a new device. To insert the SIM card on your Infocus Bingo 10, power off your device and remove the back panel. Now remove the battery and place the SIM card slots as per the marked direction on your smartphone. Further, place the battery, put the back panel and boot your device. You have successfully inserted SIM card on your device, and it will be ready for use once the setup is done.

    What is the type of SIM supported on this device?

    The type of the SIM supported by the device is Regular SIM card and the Micro SIM card supporting the 3G connectivity. There is also an external Micro SD card available on your device which helps in expanding the storage on your device by 64 GB.

    How to share your Data network via Tethering on the device?

    Sharing of the data network can be done using the tethering mode on your device. To share the Data network on your smartphone, Open the settings and tap on Tethering & portable hotspot. In the new window, tap on WLAN and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. The password and the Network name can be set by tapping on Setup WLAN hotspot in the same window.

    How to take a Screenshot on my Infocus Bingo 10?

    There are three ways in which you can capture a screenshot on your Bingo 10 smartphone.

    Method 1: This is the general method of capturing the screen shot where you need to press the power button along with the volume down button to capture screenshot on your device.

    Method 2: The quick settings in the notification panel on the device comes with a screenshot button. So capture a screenshot, open the notification panel and click on the screenshot button to capture the screenshot on your device.

    Method 3: In this method, you need to press and hold the power button until the power window appears on the screen. Now tap on the screenshot option which is at the bottom of the screen to capture the screenshot on your device.

    In all the three methods the screenshot is captured and saved to the gallery on your device.

    How to check for the Android Updates on the device?

    Android Updates help in fixing the bugs on your device. To check for Android Updates on your device, open the Settings and tap on Software Updates in the System section. In the new window, click on Update and tap on the ok button in the Software Update pop-up. The device checks for updates and if there is no new update then a message stating “No newer update is available” is displayed on your device.

    How to Install external apps with apk files on the device?

    External Apps can be installed by enabling the Unknown sources option on your device. To install an external app on your device, open the settings and tap on Security in the personal section. In the new window, tap on the Unknown sources and click on the Ok button in the pop-up to enable that on your device.

    To customize the quick settings in the notification panel, open the notification panel and click on Edit button adjacent to the settings cog.     Power saving mode is used to improve the battery life of your device during low battery condition. To use this on your device, open the Settings and tap on the battery in the device section. In the new window, tap on the Power saver option and toggle the off button to enable that on your device.

    Acceleration, Gyroscope Uncalibrated, and Proximity are the sensors available on the device and helps in automating your device.

    Are there LED notification lights on the device?

    No, there are no LED notification lights available on the device.

    How to use the Screen pinning feature on the Infocus Bingo 10?

    Screen pinning feature is available on the devices with Android Lollipop on it. As the device comes with Android 6.0, to use the application on your device, open the settings and tap on Security in the Personal section. In the new window, head over to the Advanced section and click on the screen pinning option and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. Now open the overview window and tap on the pin button for the application that you want to pin on your device. The application is successfully pinned on your Home screen. Now to unpin the pinned application, you need to press the back button and the overview button at the same time for about 2-3 seconds.

    What are the Pre-installed Apps on the device?

    The device comes with all the Google related apps, Mobile Assistant, App Traffic Control, Power Detective, Themes, Torch and few basic tools pre-installed on your device.

    Can I Move apps from phone storage to SD card on this device?

    No, there is no such option available on the device using which you can move the app from internal to external storage on your device.

    What are the bloatware applications on the device?

    The device comes with bloatware applications like Amazon, Dropbox and Bobble pre-installed on it and you can’t remove the apps from your device.

    Can I remove the bloatware apps from the device?

    Mobile Assistant is the application which is used to keep an eye on the performance of your device and gives a perfect score for your device. It comes with five options Device acceleration, Storage Clean, Power Saving, Permission, and Threats; Modify fixed items. To use this open the application from the app from the app drawer and click on Start now. It starts scanning, and the final score is displayed on the screen.

    What is Safebox and how to use that on your device?

    Infocus devices come with a Safe box application which is used to protect the data on your device with a secure password. To use this on your device, open the Safebox application from the app drawer. If you open that for the 1st time, then you set the password for the application and add a security question for password retrieval. Once your device with the setup, you can store the data in the Safebox. It comes with the options like Photos, Videos, Files, Password book and App lock. Now you can add the content in the respective options to secure them on your device. The best thing about this application is that if you don’t use the application for about 5 minutes the application will be automatically locked, and the content is secured.
