iBall is always known for its budget smartphone in India has recently launched a new smartphone mSLR Cobalt 4 that comes with the additional lens to capture images in different modes. It comes powered by Cortex A7 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and comes with 1GB RAM. The additional lens available in the package are 8x Zoom Lens, Fish Eye Lens and Wide Lens. iBall mSLR cobalt is a dual SIM smartphone and supports dual Standby. To insert a SIM card on your device, power off your device and remove the back panel. Now remove the battery and insert the SIM card in their respective ports as per the marked direction on the panel. Now place the battery back and put the cover and boot the device. You have successfully inserted SIM card on your device.
iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 is a Dual SIM smartphone and is a combination of a regular/normal SIM card and Micro SIM card.
Tethering mode is the option helpful to share the data network on your device. To enable this option, Open the settings and tap on More Settings in Wireless & Networks. In the new window, tap on Tethering and portable hotspot and click on Wi-Fi Hotspot. Further the toggle the off button to enable that on your device. You can also set the password and network name by tapping on set up wi-fi hotspot on your device.
A screenshot can be captured by pressing the volume down key along with power/lock key on your device. Once the screenshot is captured, it is saved to gallery and you can quickly access the image from the notification panel.
To check for Android updates, open the iBall OTA app from the app drawer. The device now checks for updates, and if there are no new updates, then a message stating No Update Available is displayed on the screen.
External apps can be installed by enabling the Uknown sources option on your device. To use this feature on your device, Open the Setting and tap on security in the personal section. In the new window, head over to device administration and tap on Unknown sources. A pop-up appears on the screen, tap on OK to enable the Unknown sources option on your device.
The quicks settings in the notification panel cannot be customized on the device.
Acceleration, Light, and Proximity are the sensors available on the device and helps in automating your device.
There are no LED notification lights available on the device.
The device comes with Android version 4.4.2. Hence, there is no screen pinning option available on the device.

Yes there is an option where you can uninstall the bloatwares from the device. To remove the bloatware apps, Open the settings and tap on the apps and head over to the All section. Now tap on the app that you want to delete and click on Uninstall. The apps is successfully installed from the device.
Yes, there is an option on the device where you can move apps from internal storage to the external storage on your device. To use this feature, Open the settings and tap on Apps in the device section. In the new window, tap on the app that you want to move to SD card. In the app window, tap on Move to External Storage. The apps start transferring from internal to external storage and is successfully moved in few seconds. You can also move apps from external to internal in a same fashion.
The device comes with 8GB as its internal storage out of which around 4GB of free space is available for the user and rest of the space is occupied the pre-installed apps.
The device comes with 1 GB RAM out of which 615 MB free RAM is available when no apps are running on the device.
Gestures options are helpful to open an application with ease just by tapping any gesture when the screen is off. To use this feature on your device, Open the settings, tap on Gesture Control in the personal section. In the new window, toggle the off button to enable that on your device.
