Headquartered at Andheri Mumbai, India iBall is known for making computer peripherals, tablets, laptops, and smartphones. Recently the company has launched iBall Aasaan featured phone for elderly people that came with an SOS button which was priced at Rs. 2,999. Earlier iBall has released devices like iBall Slide Cuboid Tablet, iBall Andi 4G ARC 2 and iBall Andi 5.5U F2F.

Coming to the specifications of the device, the Andi i9 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) display with a pixel density of 196 PPI. The iBall Andi i9 comes with a 5 MP camera on the rear with LED flash and also has features like Geotagging, Autofocus, HDR, Panorama and can record HD (720p) videos at 30fps. There is also a VGA camera on the front for video calling. The device comes out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but nothing has been mentioned about the further updates. The other connectivity options include Micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS GPRS and Bluetooth v4.0. There are sensors like G-Sensor, Accelerometer, and Proximity Sensor which help in automation of the handset.

The device will be available in Gold color variant and is going for sale via Amazon. The iBall Andi i9 will be competing against devices like Huawei Honor Bee, Infocus Bingo 10 and Lenovo A2010 which are in the similar price range.
