Earlier we had exclusively reported about the launch of Huawei’s latest 4G LTE smartphone ‘Huawei Enjoy 5.’ Today the company had launched another smartphone ‘Huawei Union 4G LTE‘ that costs only just $79.99. BLU is the another smartphone manufacturer that has been launching smartphone with decent specifications at affordable pricing.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Huawei’s Emotion UI out-of-the-box. It sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA TFT display and is powered by Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz. It also comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with an expandable storage option.
Connectivity options on this device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and MicroUSB 2.0. It has a 5MP rear camera with fixed focus and no LED flash. The device also misses the front-facing camera which means there will be no Selfie captures on this device.
It has a 2,000mAh removable battery that can give 4.5 hours of talk time and lasts up to 350 hours on standby. The device is available through Virgin and Boost mobiles. This also the first smartphone to be launched by Huawei in partnership with Virgin mobiles.
Few months ago BLU had launched a new smartphone BLU Studio C, the successor for last years BLU Studio 5.0 C. The device is priced at $99.99 comes with slightly better specifications than the Huawei Union. It has an HD Display, 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front camera. The device also comes with a 3,000mAh battery which no other manufacturer had offered at this same price range.
