Honor 5X is expected to be launched at the Huawei event held earlier this month, instead the company came up with a new device called as ‘Enjoy 5.’ Today the company had officially launched the Honor 5X in China for 999 Yuan (approx $157 / Rs. 10,200). The device comes with the fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. At such a low price, the Honor 5X is the most affordable smartphone with a fingerprint sensor to be launched by the company.

While the earlier launched Honor 4X sports entry-level specifications, the Honor 5X comes with some decent mid-range specifications. The device comes with a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution. It will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. The device comes in two variants, one with 2GB and the other with 3GB RAM.
