A couple of days back, the Honor Bee 2 with entry-level specifications went on sale in the offline market for Rs. 7,499. Now, we have received another exclusive tip about the mid-range Honor 8 Lite smartphone. It is already on sale in few of the European markets as Huawei P8 Lite 2017 and Huawei Nova Lite. As per our source, the Honor 8 Lite will be available in the Indian market from May 1st which is just a couple of weeks away.
Unlike the other variants of the Honor 8 Lite that packs just 3GB of RAM, the Indian variant will sport 4GB of RAM. There will be 64GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD card slot. Apart from skipping the dual camera setup, the Honor 8 Lite looks similar to Honor 8 with the 2.5D curved glass laid on front and back of the device. The popular mid-range device, Honor 6X with dual camera setup also uses the same Kirin 655 SoC.
It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS with the customized EMUI 5.0 laid on top. In the camera department, the Honor 8 Lite sports a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front camera with wide-angle lens for selfies and video calls.
