Hard Reset is the actual reset where the data on the device is cleared from your device making device fresh for use.

Step 1: Open the settings and tap on Backup and Reset option in the Personal Section.
Step 2: In the new window, you will find both the backup and reset options. Now head over to the bottom of the screen and tap on Factory Data reset.
