Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition

Motorola has recently launched a new smartphone, i.e.; the Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition priced at Rs 12,999. The device comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded up to 32 GB using an external Micro SD card slot. The battery capacity of this device is 2470 mAh and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. The rear camera on the device is 13 MP with dual tone LED flash and sports a 5MP Selfie shooter. If you are using this smartphone and got bored with this Motorola device and would like to switch to any of the flagship devices, then always remember to factory reset your device before your give your device for others to use. There are two ways in which you can reset your device, i.e., the Soft Reset & Hard Reset. Before you factory reset your device you can check the Tips & Tricks of the device which we have covered earlier so that the problem on your device may be fixed instead of formatting.

Soft Reset:

This is the general Method of resetting your smartphone where you just need to restart your device in case you want to close all the applications and clear the RAM on your device. This is used when you get stuck with any of the options on your device and unable to close it.

Hard Reset:

This is the actual method of reset where all the data is cleared on your device without and makes your device fresh for use. To Hard reset your device you can follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Open the settings and tap on Backup & Reset in the device section.

Step 2: In the new window, you will find the backup and reset options. You need to tap on the Factory Data Reset option which is at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: It will show the list of the accounts and data available on your device. Now you need to tap on the Reset Phone button which is at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: If you have set any password to your device, then you need to enter the password to proceed further.

Step 5: Once you enter the password. It will show you the final Warning message stating “You can’t Undo the action”. Now click on the Erase Everything button which is at the center of your screen.

The device restarts and all the data is erased from your device. Once the data is deleted the device reboots again as if you are booting the device for the first time.

Note:

  • Before you factory reset your Motorola Moto G, create a backup of the data available on your device as factory data resetting is an irreversible process and data once deleted cannot be retrieved back.
