Day & Night Camera Shooting with Captures from the UMi Plus Smartphone

UMi Plus is the new smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, which looks quite promising in terms of the specs for the price at which it is being offered at. Previously we saw a couple of comparison of this smartphone with few of the best devices out there in the market. Well, the results were quite obvious, and it only goes to say that this is definitely one of the best out there.

And yet again we have something quite interesting to report about the device. Today we will take a look at the smartphone’s camera. The UMi Plus smartphone uses a Samsung 13mpx sensor with PDAF technology. Well, what does that mean? Let’s just say; it helps to take some stunning images under any given conditions. And you can check the same by taking a look at the video below.

In order to allow users to take nice pictures, UMi Plus integrates a 13MP Samsung® Camera, which uses the new generation 0.1s PDAF phase focusing technology, which enhances by 100% light processing compared to the first generation of this tech, with a focusing speed of just 0.15s. So this essentially allows the smartphone to take some stunning images with blazing fast shooting speed, with less blurred images.

One of the most important implementation along with PDAF technology is the “Manual Controls” setting, which you find under the option called “Pro-Photo”, a mode where you can manually adjust most parameters to obtain shots exactly as you wish, giving way more flexibility in every situation compared to the automatic mode. It’s possible to manually regulate photosensitivity (iso), Exposure Speed (S), the Exposure Value (ev), Saturation, Contrast, Brightness, the focal point and the white balance, for an increased control of the shooter.

Well, on the other hand, if you are one of those, who simply want to point and shoot without having to manually fiddle with settings, the usual automatic photo mode is there and allows you to take shoots with speed and ease. You also have PIP (picture on a picture) mode and panorama mode, to capture in the best possible ways the stunning landscapes you visit. As mentioned earlier, the video shows this impressive camera in action. So if you want to have a better idea on what this camera can do, then make sure you check out the video.

Now with all the doubt about the camera out of the way, it is safe to say that this device is indeed worthy of the price which you are paying for. And if you don’t know already, the last comparison which we showcased vs the iPhone 7 Plus also gave us some interesting results. Well, to sum it up, it may not be the best smartphone ever, but it is definitely a value for money smartphone. Also, if you are willing to buy one of this smartphone, then you should check out the giveaway which we are currently running o our website.
