Coolpad Note 3S & Mega 3 Smartphones Launched in India, Price Starts from Rs. 6,999

As announced earlier, Coolpad has launched its latest smartphone Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 smartphone today in India. While the high-end Coolpad Max priced at Rs. 25,000 haven’t received well, the devices like Note 3 and Note 5 stood strong against the other budget smartphones. The recently launched Coolpad Note 5 priced at Rs. 10,999 is the most affordable smartphone in India to feature 4GB of RAM. Now the newly launched Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 are priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively. Coolpad Note 3S

The Coolpad Note 3S is the successor the popular Note 3 smartphone. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and dual curved glass on top. The device is powered by Snapdragon 415 MSM8989 octa-core processor clocked at 1.36GHz. It includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. It sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera with the same f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery that is rated to last 200 hours on standby.

It comes with a fingerprint sensor which is placed in the back of the device. The Note 3S supports dual SIM dual standby and offers both FDD and TD LTE. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device measures 154.5 x 77 x 8.6 mm and weighs 167 grams. It will be available in Gold and White color options. There are all the basic sensors for everyday usage like accelerometer, magnetic sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor.

Coolpad Mega 3

The USP of the device is its triple SIM slots which support 4G. It also has a fourth slot for adding MicroSD card. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display same as the Note 3S but there is no curved glass on this device. Under the hood, the Mega 3 is powered by MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor coupled Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded upto another 64GB. The Mega 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Coll UI 8.0.

It has an 8MP sensor on the front and back of the device and both the cameras are assisted by LED flash. The device is backed by a 3,050mAh battery that can give at least a day of mixed usage. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the device. With the three SIM slots, the device supports triple standby. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 154.4 x 76.8 x 8.35 mm and weighs 170.5 grams.
