After launching the Coolpad Mega 2.5D smartphone in India, the Chinese manufacturer brand has introduced the another smartphone with minimum specifications called as Coolpad Modena 2. It is priced at EUR 179 (approx. Rs. 13,350 in India) and is available for buy at Amazon DE. It is the successor of the Coolpad Modena that was launched last year. The device has a polycarbonate body with shining metallic sides and will be available in champagne gold and Grey color variants.
It has a large 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and has a pixel density of 267 PPI. The device comes with a IPS technology and features 2.5D curved screen on the front. It comes packed with a MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor that clocks at 1.0 GHz coupled with a Mali-T720 GPU. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool UI 8.0 out of the box.
The device houses a 16GB built-in memory that can further be expanded via microSD card slot up to 32GB and paired with 2GB of RAM. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE, which carries a network speeds up to 150Mbps of download and 50Mbps of upload. The other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Hotspot, A-GPS, Micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, OTG and FM Radio.
In the camera segment, there is an megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash that can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. The company will also launch a dual rear camera technology with LeEco EUI on August 16, which is named as Coolpad Cool 1. The Coolpad Mega 2.5D smartphone has launched with the price tag of Rs. 6,999 and is available for pre-orders through Amazon India.
