In the next week, we will see few budget smartphone launches in the Indian market. Today, Lenovo has confirmed to launch the K6 Power smartphone in India on November 29th. Now, another Chinese company Coolpad also announced to launch not one but two new smartphones namely Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3. While the Note 3S will be the successor to thew popular Note 3 smartphone, the Mega 3 will be replacing the Mega 2.5D smartphone. Once, the largest smartphone mobile phone maker in China, Coolpad has lost its charm with the entry of new brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus.

With the recent investment in Coolpad, LeEco became the largest shareholder in the company. In China, the company has launched the smartphones under the new brand name Cool and runs on the LeEco eUI based on Android. Unlike in China, Coolpad still uses the Cool UI for their smartphones in India. Both the Mega 3 and Note 3S smartphone are expected to to be priced under the Rs. 10,000. These devices also support 4G VoLTE and works with the Jio 4G SIM. As seen with the Coolpad smartphones, we expect both these device to be launched exclusively through Amazon India.

Last month, the company launched the Coolpad Note 5 smartphone with high-end specifications for just Rs. 10,999. It comes with an all metal body with a 2.5D glass laid on top. The Note 5 is one of the very few smartphones to offer 4GB of RAM at this price range. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. Along with 4GB of RAM, there is 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via MicroSD card slot. On the camera front, there is a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIMs.

The 4,010mAh battery keeps the device powered for at least a day of normal usage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the Cool UI laid on top. On the back, we can also find the circular fingerprint which makes the device a bit more secure. The device is already on sale through Amazon India and unlike other Chinese brands, there are no flash sales at least for this device. As the Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 will be officially unveiled next week, stay tuned on Phone Radar for the specifications and pricing of both the devices.
