ASUS ZenWatch 3 Smartwatch will be available starting next month for $229

ASUS announced their new smartwatch which will be joining the previously launched Zenwatch and the Zenwatch 2 at IFA 2016 show floor. It is called the Zenwatch 3 and it is the company’s best attempt at the wearable watch. And yes, it looks stunning. The watch has all latest and the greatest specs which you would expect from a typical smartwatch in 2016. Back then when the company announced the watch, they didn’t mention anything about the about the availability of the device and it left clueless.

Now it has been reported that the smartwatch will soon be available to purchase directly through the ASUS’s website and other online stores starting this November for $229. Well, now that we know when this product will be available, it will be quite interesting to know how the wearable shines for the rest of the year. Talking about other offerings, Apple Watch Series 2 and the Samsung Gear S3 will also be hitting the selfs to compete. Stay tuned to know more about these devices.

Earlier – ASUS kickstarted their IFA 2017 event with the ZenWatch 3 Smartwatch launch. So just like last year, they used the international floor to unveil their best attempt in the Smartwatch category. So this is the first round watch from the company, that is powered by the Android Wear. Well, the first thing that comes to your mind when you look at the watch is the refreshing design. The previous version i.e. the Zenwatch 2 was not that good as the design was not liked by many. But this year, things have changed.

The Zenwatch 3 is crafted from Jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel and it just measures under 10mm in thickness. The round is complimented with a rose gold ring around the bezel, and we also have two buttons and a crown on the right side of the device. This actually gives it a nice look. The watch will be available in three color including the gunmetal, rose gold & silver.

The watch will also come with 50 watch faces to compliment the look of the device. It also comes with an upgraded battery and interestingly they have also announced a battery pack for the watch. This battery pack can squeeze you some extra time with the watch if it runs out of juice. The watch is priced at €229 (17,150 INR).

They also announced the ZenPad 3S 10 Tablet. It is the latest offering from the manufacturer in the tablet category. This was already unveiled at an event in Taiwan previously. It sports a 9.7-inch display at the front with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. It has a beautiful metal body of sandblasted aluminium and curved edges with the matte texture. And most importantly it is only 5.8mm thick, which makes it thinner than the iPad Pro 9.7 inch variant.

It is powered by a mediaTek processor and has 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It is also powered by a 5,900 mAh battery and has Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also supports ASUS Z Stylus. Stay tuned for more info on these devices.
