Archos 55 Graphite and 50 Graphite are new two devices from the company targeted toward the budget segment market. Archos is a French multinational electronics company that is known for making portable video players, digital video players, netbooks and few more. Recently the company has launched the devices like Archos 101 Saphir Tablet, Archos 50f Neon, Archos 55b Cobalt, Archos 97c Platinum and few more. Archos has not gained much attention in the market for any particular device but has released many budget friendly devices.
The bigger Archos 55 Graphite comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen giving a pixel density of 267 PPI with multi-touch 2.5D curved screen. The device is a Dual SIM variant that supports 4G connectivity. Under the hood, there is a Quad core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the device is 16GB which can be further extended up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the back, there is Li-Ion 3000mAh battery with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. There is a dual camera setup 13MP + 2MP camera on the rear while it will be accompanied with 5MP selfie camera. It will feature all the sensors and connectivity options that are required for automation of the device. The smaller Archos 50 Graphite will come with a 5-inch IPS LCD with a pixel resolution of 294 PPI and will be powered by a 2400mAH battery.
Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.5GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali T720 GPU. The onboard memory of the device is 16GB which will be extended up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It will feature similar camera setup as its sibling and come out of the box with Android Nougat 7.0.
