After rebranding from QiKU to 360, Qihoo 360 launched some decent smartphones at very affordable prices. Earlier this year, the company launched the 360 F4, 360 F4 Pro, and 360 N4 smartphones. Last month 360 also launched the 360 Q5 and Q5 Plus high-end smartphones. The company is teasing to launch two new smartphones as the successors to 360 F4 and 360 N4. Now, one of the two upcoming smartphones is spotted on TENAA with the model number 1603-A03, and we expect this to be the 360 F4S.
While the 360 F4 came with a polycarbonate body, the 360 F4S sports an all-metal unibody design with curved edges on the back. The 360 F4S looks simialr to the 360 N4S which also launched with the same screen size. The latest device also comes with a front facing LED flash which can capture decent selfies even in the low light conditions. It sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) whereas the 360 F4 came with a 5-inch HD display.
Under the hood, the F4S will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. We expect this to be the same MediaTek MT6753 processor which also used with the 360 F4. The listing shows the 360 F4S to include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and there might also be a 2GB RAM variant with 16GB of storage. The users can expand the storage additionally up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot. On the camera front, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera.
It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. The 360 F4S is kept powered on by a 3920mAh non-removable battery and might give more than a day of usage. In July, 360 launched the N4S with a whooping 5,000mAh battery. While the N4S is the first smartphonre to run on 360 OS 2.0, the F4S also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmalloew based 360 2.0 OS. It measures 150 x 75.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 176 grams. Apart from a better display and bigger battery, other specifications remain same as on 360 F4.
Since this new device comes with a metal body, we can guess the device to be slightly costlier than its predecessor. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for official launch date and information about the second device that will also be launched on the same stage.
